My father used to say the phrase whenever I complained about my misfortunes. Such is entertainment these days anything goes to unexpected places i.e. very deliberately misleading statements that slice through any conversation of what life is or is not, by way of making any reasonable attempt to argue life is sometimes not beautiful a buzz kill. In general the topic of the meaning of life is better left to those who know far more than I and Monty Python has yet to be surpassed in their wit.
Here’s to Life is Beautiful! and in this case also VAST

This year’s Life is Beautiful art exhibition, moves into the vacant Western Hotel, an iconic former bingo parlor on Fremont Street in Downtown Vegas where artists share the building with the event’s speaker series. Opening day offers PUSSY RIOT under the same roof as VAST space projects. NPR broadcasts live from the hotel’s former lounge. Responding to curator Patrick Duffy’s artist call (“Life is ____”), VAST answers, Life is Vast through the works of nearly 50 artists, a number of them native to Nevada and UNLV graduates.
